Client: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy.
Objective: The US Department of Health and Human Services created a campaign to generate awareness of the effectiveness of antiretroviral therapy (ART) to achieve viral suppression. Its launch was an event where all the featured participants would give their experiences in front of a live audience. The client wanted to create a 7 to 10 minutes short video documentary with all their stories and some additional interviews to support the documentation of the event for web distribution on the HIV.gov website, with the US population living with HIV as the target audience.
Despite its complexity, constrained time, and budget, I led this substantial project from bidding to completion. I managed all aspects, including location scouting, crew hiring, equipment rental, filming logistics, and even setting up media management and catering. Being a part of this impactful undertaking for a significant cause was a privilege. It garnered the Gold dotCOMM Award in the Health Care category, while the overall campaign secured the Platinum dotCOMM Award for Website Writing.
